Timex Watch Bands Replacement

For my graduation, my dad gave me his old Timex watch for sentimental reasons (my grandpa gave the watch to him).

Although the mechanics of the watch was still running fine, the leather band showed a high degree of wear throughout the years. So, I asked my dad if he would mind if I search for a Timex watch bands replacement for it.

b) First thing first, you need to take out the old watchband first. Place the watch facedown on the cloth, so that you wouldn't scratch the watch's crystal.

At one end of the attached springbar, position the forked end of the springbar tool and press it down towards the direction of the watchband. This will cause the band to be released with the springbar still within. Do the same for the other side.

c) Now, insert a new springbar into the alloted hole at the end of one Timex replacement watch band. If it doesn't slide in easily, push the springbar with the tip of the sprinbar tool.

Make sure that the ends of the springbar are sticking out from the watchband's edges. Do the same for the other side.

d) When you're changing the bands, make sure the correct timex watch band is attached to the correct side of the watch.

Insert one end of the sprinbar into the right hole and using the springbar tool, use the forked end to press the springbar down to make it shorter so that it can slide into the allocated hole. It is properly locked in place when you hear a clicking sound.
